COURSE DESCRIPTION:  This course is designed to help the student develop an understanding of the concepts, principles, and practices necessary in the preparation and maintenance of financial records concerned with business management and operations. Students are exposed to the accounting cycle, cash control systems, payroll, and careers in accounting.

  • Accounting In The Real World

    Students will work in groups creating a business using the accounting concepts.  As we complete each chapter and students master the concept, they will add to their final PowerPoint project of their business.

    They will be required to make a final presentation at the end of the semester.
