Frank Douglas has been teaching in Blackville-Hilda Public Schools (BHPS) in South Carolina for the last five years. He is currently teaching U.S. History, U.S. Government and Economics. Prior to coming to the BHPS district, Frank was the Director, Air Force Junior ROTC at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in South Carolina for 13 years. He served 21 years in the United States Air Force as an Instructor Pilot, teaching Air Force members aviation academics in the classroom and hands-on skills, techniques and procedures in the aircraft. He received a bachelor of science degree in Sociology from Fayetteville State University, North Carolina and a master of science degree in Personnel Counseling and Human Development from Troy State University, Alabama. His basic educational philosophy is: "educators should teach each child as if the child was his/her own biological child."
