Informaton about third quarter report cards, spring break and additional instructional packets for your children

1. Report Cards will be available on the parent portal Monday, March 30th. Parents who do not have a parent portal account or would like a hard copy of your child's report card should email Ms. Snider at or Mr. Smalls at

2. Parents: Blackville-Hilda Public Schools will observe Spring Break April 6-10.
3. Instructional packets for your child to work on for the closure extension will be distributed on Monday, April 13th and Tuesday, April 14th from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Parents are asked to turn in completed instructional packets at that time. 
Update on school closure

The Governor has extended the closure of the public schools until April 30th.  Our district officials will be meeting tomorrow (March 25) to discuss the creation of new learning packets for students and the date of distribution. Please check back to our website for more information. Parents will also be notified by Alert Now phone calls and emails. 

Instructions on Withdrawing Students During COVID-19 in the Blackville-Hilda Public School System

I need to WITHDRAW my child

Parents –

Due to the COVID-19 virus, BHPS enrollment and withdrawal process has changed during this time.

If you need to WITHDRAW your child at Blackville-High School (grades 9-12), please send an email to or if your child needs to be withdrawn at Macedonia Elementary /Middle School (grades preK-8) email

 (They will reply back to your email request within 24 hours.)

***You must be listed as Family #1 or Family #2 in Powerschool***

You must return all school issued books or equipment.

In your email to the Principals, please provide the following information:

  • a picture of your ID (parent/guardian) (snap a picture of your id with your phone!)
  • your child’s First and Last Name (legal name as entered in PowerrSchool)
  • your child’s Birthdate
  • the campus your child is attending
  • the name of the District and School that your child will be attending
  • a contact email and phone number so the  can contact you to complete the Withdrawal Process

If your child has a BHHS or MEMS issued books or equipment……

  • The Principal of your child’s school will instruct you as to where/when you will return the books/equipment.
